DDM Tunning HID Kit

hey guys i'm looking to purchase a hid kit. i was thinking about getting the ddm tunning kit with full ballast. the good thing is they come with a lifetime warranty.

my question is: has anyone used these on a B5. is it easy to install? any problems?

I ordered mine a month ago, still haven't installed them yet. But i read a lot of good reviews. Did you get the 55W ballast?

Wow, this is a timely post.....I literally am looking at this exact same setup, since my CQ lighting POS-quality kit just died on me....heard nothing but great things about this kit. They are apparently maid by Apexcone, which have an available lifetime warranty....can't go wrong with that, especially at only $170. I say get em, cuz I'm gonna do the same

There $170 from here if you've got a pre 2000, but its $210 for 2000 to 2001.

55watt ballasts produce a higher light output (approx. 45% more output than the 30 watt ballasts)....they're technically not street legal, but who cares, right?.....I'm buying a set of these very soon

They are a very good set. I had a 6k kit on since the start of the summer and they ran great. Only problem I had was my drivers side Ballast died a couple weeks ago. But I upgraded to the 8k's. The lifetime warranty is a great deal that comes with those lights.

Thats who i ordered my HID kit from in august. Installation was very easy especialy because the ballast's are nice and small. Haven't had any problems with them yet.

This is a great kit! I know 3 different people with the DDM's on 2 BMW's and 1 Audi. Great, easy install, and nice color aswell. i will try and get pictures.

I got a question. Somebody said that the 55W ones will melt the wire harness. Is that true? Thanks.
