Symptoms For A Bad Throw Out Bearing

I asked Greg what the squealing sound might be and he said it might be the throw out bearing going bye bye. But after some research online and listening watching youtube videos for a throw out bearing, it might not be the case.

I know the symptons for a bad throw out bearing is a clunking noise or chatter when the clutch is depressed and it goes away once the clutch is in. But my weird sound comes when the car is only at an uphill, I know I'm giving enough gas as well. I'm gassing around at 1.5-1.8k rpm. The squealing goes away once the car starts moving after 2-3 seconds. Also, this only happens on 1st gear. Changing gears are smooth and fine with no noise at all. Only on an uphill after 15-20 minutes of driving.

Also when the car is in reverse gear the howling, squealing, or scraping noise comes while I'm turning the steering wheel fully to the left or right 2 times.

Any ideas or advice is greatly appreciated, I don't want to keep driving the car until my tranny dies or something.

Re: Symptoms For A Bad Throw Out Bearing

When my throw out bearing broke into many little pieces, it made no noises prior to the fail.
