Retro fit B6 style MFSW to my B6

I apologise profusely if this subject has been covered elsewhere but after 30 mins of searching this Site I could not find an answer....(I know that the 3 spoke sport steering wheel is the choice of many Audi enthusiasts, but I need the functions in the ugly 4 spoke steering wheel)...and I don't want to fit the B7 dual stage airbag MFSW....

OK...this B6 MFSW is on the German E-bay

What exactly is involved in retro fitting it my 2003 Audi A4 B6 ?

Part numbers of the parts required would be useful....i.e. the ECU Module that converts the steering wheel switches to interface to the CAN-BUS.
My Audi A4 aready has cruise control fitted....does this help me...I also have VAG-COM.

.....or point me to the right post in the right forum....

    Cheers

You'll probably need a new slip ring to handle the extra connection from the MFSW.

If very probable that the SCSM that you have will be OK when recoded - since you have cruise control. Try recoding it with VAG-COM, if it accepts the coding for an MFSW (but generates errors because it's not fitted) then it's OK, but if it won't accept the coding then you'll need to replace it.

    I think that's all you'll need...
