okay, well see at the track. which one? 1/4 mile? your gonna need drag radials at least, if not slicks or else youll be doing silly shit like 13.4@120 lol. On the stock rear end and im sure those axles arent very strong from the factory. BTW what kind of hp/tq numbers you expecting from the 350?

dont worry about my tires I already have that planned out. Um once I get my twin turbo set up and my motor built I'll be putting out 600rwhp

and back on the subject of the thread. he's looking to spend 10-13k and is torn b/w the audi a4 b6 model and the lexus IS.

And on a very sad note the audi was attacked by a mini-van this weekend Off to the body shop. *sigh* I can't even look at it. Makes me so upset.

Hey guys, I'm THAT friend, looking at the IS or the A4.

My absolute must-haves for the car are:
- B6 model
- Manual transmission
- Black Interior

Looking to spend around 10-13k
V6, and/or Quattro is definately a plus but not necessary yet (though i may change my mind later depending on the price). Also a preference for black or dark colors is a plus, but considering all colors for now.

So far the 2 good ones look like jstdoit cousin's car and jakeN20's car. if you guys got some pics or more info, you can pm it to me. Thanks!

With that outta the way, Yes I am having a hard time choosing between the 2 though I know they are 2 very different cars. I'm getting rid of the 350z (giving to my dad) and I'm wanting to step into a more mature car. All performance aside, the Audi totally blows away the IS300 (IMO), inside and out, but i do like to have a bit of power and i've heard that a4's arent particularly fast even with the chip. Also, the FWD kind of kills it for me. Unless, I get the AWD, then i think it may serve some purpose in terms of racing.

With the IS300, i get the luxury of a huge mod-base, or the option to swap the supra motor (in the future) while still allowing me to keep a relatively conservative car. Im in love with the exterior but the interior is just plain cheap to me and the more i look at it, the more it seems im looking at an old corolla interior.

So if any of you guys have any input (or cars for sale that fit the bill), please let me know, i'd love to hear from you.

yeah the b5s dont really appeal to me too much and is platinum a light grey? I think it would bother me too much. i love black interiors.
