    Add-on seat side bolsters

I'm wondering, since seats are soooo expensive, are there side seat bolsters that can be added to car seats? If they don't exist I think it would be a great new mod for our horrible seats. They can be wrapped around the seats and have four parts 2 for the back sides and 2 for the lower sides.
What do you guys think? Has this been done?

I wouldn't think they'd be that noticeable especially if they're black on black seats. Plus functionality is the whole purpose and since they're add-ons they can be removed whenever your not engaging in spirited driving.

You could start doing an intense stomach, oblique and back routine so you can hold yourself well OR you can get REALLY fat so you barely fit in the drivers side and then it's all good!

I think it's an interesting concept, just not sure how well it would actually function. Let alone secure to the seat without some permanent modification to the interior of the car.

i can't stand the seats in our cars. even the seats in my civic si are far more supportive, and i have sparco torinos in the IS300, which are fantastic.

Until you sit in a decent set of supportive seats, you don't realize how much control you lose when doing some hard cornering. small things like tensing up, and bracing your legs and elbows against the door and center console or even just "hanging on" by gripping the steering wheel prevent you from really getting a feel of the turn.

i agree completely.. most of the time (at least me) my body automatically tenses up to stay put in the seat... and i dont concentrate as much on making the turn
