    A6q front CV help.....

    so please refer to my link for the whole story and pics to boot (no pun intended) anyone have a snapshot of a manual tranny CV so I can tell NAPA it's boxed wrong and they screwed me today ?

    Manual tranny axles are made with an exposed inner CV joint. You have to pack the inner bearing with grease right before you install it. The tiptronic tranny uses the sealed inner CV like you showed in your link to AW.

    I have an old OEM passenger side axle in my garage do you need a pic of it?

    it worked .... NAPA tried to cross referencs the part num from the Bentley with no luck. IDK what dude was doing . I have talked to ALOT of PPL that have use NAPA re-builds but the guys here in the local one keep telling me that they are the same and even showed me pics for their website in which they both looked the same. I know they are <200 from raxles, just trying to save a few bucks, but I guess that ain't happening. Thanks for your help tho man, I really appreciate it.
