I was playing around with my radio controls today and noticed while changing the output from front to rear that about 80% of the bass comes from my front door speakers and when output is changed to the rear I hardly have any bass at all, just treble or whatever. non bose symphony

Did you mix up front and rear in this question? The title asks if there is more bass from the rear.

Re: do the rear speakers produce more bass then the fronts?

Sorry, I turned the bass to max and then moved the sound from front to back and when the back was on then no bass at all (just treble) and even with all the speakers on and sittign in the back the bass is coming from the front. I just figured since there are oem subs with an amp that the rear speakers would produce way more bass then the fronts.

Well the stock sub has a lot working against it.

    -Free air
    -Small Diameter
    -Cheap
    -Not much power

you're correct, but it's almost as if I don't even have a rear sub.

what are the front door speakers rated at compared to the rear deck in terms of wattage?
