    DBC conversion for 2001..yay or nay?

    I have searched but came up short...

    The one thing i hate about my 2001 is the DBW, anyone go with this conversion... does it feel any different .. worth it?

    What would you do about a cruise control, I don't see the vac ball, and what about whole cruise system actually.

    as far as i know, that conversion is for the people with DBW that want to go with their standalone. There is nothing wrong with DBW. Delete your n249 and you'll feel more response as some poeple reported. I owed a DBC and now have a DBW and really there is not difference as far as drivability goes

    Just delete the n249, and keep the dbw. You can always get a larger throttle body for better response. Too much work is required to go dbc, gotta mount a new gas pedal, run a cable, buy a new tb for dbc, and spend money on standalone which is a lot for that. Just enjoy your DBW and your ability to run MAFless if you go big
