Help me Source a Black Optiks grill at a good price!

I want this part from ECS tuning

OEM B7 RS4 Black Optic Grille & All Black Plate Filler Kit ES#6624
The "all black" kit, blackout grille & all plate plate filler. Does Not Fit DTM Edition Bumpers learn more

But I'm trying to find a better price than their $504. Any suggestions?

Home depot sandpaper/paint FTW. Doesn't nearly look as good in the end, but you save about $420, plus the only way anyone will tell is if they really closely examine it.

No. I want a quality piece. I'm sure its a OEM VAG part but they don't list the VW part number so i can't price shop them at other websites that sell the exact same piece but don't have as nice of website or as much mark up. If anybody knows the part number for that piece it would be much appreciated.

got mines from tm tuning in germany..rs4 grill with filler plates.. was like 280 or something including shipping.. but takes like a month tho..

You know, the guy who suggests that you DIY makes a good point. Do some research on what you would need to do. Then, if you screw it up, buy the part from ECS.

I want to RS4 grill anyway and I can't see myself converting from the slates to the mesh and having it look ok in the end. The TM tuning tip was exactly what I wanted to know. Thank you very much toneloc. I e-mail then to see if they offer it with the blank filler plate instead of the euro plate holder.

Thanks again toneloc! I put my order in yesterday for the Black RS4 grill with a blank filler. Cost me $325 US including shipping to Canada. By far the best price I found on the net so thanks again for your help. I'll put some pics in here to follow up Early December after it is installed. (hopefully with the new fast intentions fullback on it as well if the damn Canadian dollar would go back up, right now it would cost me 20% more than it would have if I had put my order in two week ago.)
