UltraSport Suspension?

Does anyone know the part #s for Ultrasport suspension?
I am trying to get that factory sport stance without compensating driveability. What setup does the Ultrasport utilize?

Some after market suspension also offer the OEM feel for example Stasis

the ultrasport has the same suspension as the sport models, except for 02 which is lowest out of the B6 years

I might be wrong, but I remember reading someone saying that the B7 sport suspension works on the B6. A few B7 showed up in the past few weeks in the classifieds

I have noticed this as well but didny want to be the ginnie pig stuck paying for alignment and time wasted.

Has anyone had success in this setup?

I thought my 04' A4 had a sport package but it looks sicnificantly higher than the Ultra Sport. MAybe cuz its on 17s?

I don't see why you would wanna spend cash on stock sports suspensions when the H&R sports can provide you with the same ride quality as the factory settings. It also lowers your ride at about 1.5" to 2" inch, if I'm not mistaken..

I just parted with a GTi on coils due to my recent move to NYC. So currently I am loving the factory Audi setup. I am just scared to sacrafice ride quality. The streets here are horrible!

If you really want suspension off a USP (same as sport); mine will be up for grabs in about 2 weeks. The suspension has about 38k on it.

My Ultrasport suspension is sitting in a box in my garage, I'd be willing to sell it if you are seriously interested. (btw, the Ultrasport suspension is the same as the Sport suspension).

I currently have Stasis Streetsports. They are very close to OEM sport ride quality, in fact none of my passengers even knew I swapped suspensions, until I pointed out that I was lower.

i feel your pain...sometimes my factory non sport is a little rough around boston...might want to stick with your current setup unless you really want it to be lower...i sacrificed a usp due to its suspension

Because the stock Ultrasport suspension will handle better than mismatched aftermarket parts.

Lowering your car 2" is likely putting the suspension geometry out of its optimal range.

There are always some used ones for sale in the classifieds otherwise the stealership is gonna rape you, just make sure its springs and shocks. Again, 2002 is the lowest year.

Is there any real proof of this?

My 2005 Ultrasport sits just as low as a 2002. I can barely get a finger between the wheel well arch and the tire, and I have relatively thin fingers.

I installed the sport suspension from a B7 avant into my B6 avant.

The installation went relatively smooth. Everything fits without issue.

In the final product my front end sits about 0.5" higher compared to the back. It might be due to the fact that the B7 has a 2.0L engine vs. 1.8L so the springs may be a slightly higher rate therefore the height difference. OR it may just be how the stance is. I can't really conclude anything until I have a B6 sport suspension to compare with.

Overall I'm happy with the setup.
