    Driver Side Brake Clicking?

I just installed new pads and turned the rotors on all four corners but now my driver side brake is squeaking and I also hear a clicking sound when it gets below say around 10 mph to a stop. I removed the driver side pads and put more brake lube on the back and sides but that still didn't fix the problem. The only thing I can think of is that the rotor is bent a little on the edges because I had to use a hammer on the top (not on the surface) to break it loose. Would that eventually wear itself down or do I need to get new rotors for the front? I thought something might be loose but I tightened everything up so I don't think that is it. Maybe the brake hardware is worn out, like the spring? Any other ideas?

    Re: Driver Side Brake Clicking?

Is it clicking when you apply the brakes only or just when you're coasting at 10mph? You may have damaged your wheel bearings when you installed the brakes. Bad wheel bearings often make a clicking sound at low speeds. Let us know what you find.

    Re: Driver Side Brake Clicking?

It's when I'm applying the brakes. I took a look at the rotor and I see the problem, when I used the hammer ((I know better than that) I messed up the edge so the pad is grabbing the indention and causing the brake to click. I'm so frustrated but it is my fault at this point, I can't even blame someone else!!!
