Whats Going on everybody? New member here from CT, USA. Unfortunately I dont owe a Audi as we speak, but just 5 weeks ago I did place a order on a Audi S5, which I only have to wait until April-May according to Audi before it gets in!!!Killin me!!! My name is Tony, just outta curiousity any S5 owners here wanna indulge me on how its worth the wait, LOL... why do you have to wait so long?? A few dealers I spoke to said they had nov build / jan delivery allocations...

congratulations and although i dont have an s5 it will definately be worth it. What options did you get?

Honestly I dont mind the wait, I wasnt even aware there was such a wait list until a friend of mine told me that I just cant walk into Audi then leave with the S5. Then I searched online and saw that it was true. So 5 weeks ago when I went to Audi they told me if I wanted an auto I could get by Feb at the lastest, the 6 speed not until April-May. My next question was "whats up with this waiting list." The salesman told me because the economy is much better in Europe and there selling it for around $70,000+ american there, so there priority first over seas!!

Heres the specs on my "unborn child." LOL...
-I ordered a Sprint Blue S5, the fuel economical( I wish ) V8 Version
-Black on Black interior with the Carbon Atlas Decorative inlays
-Navagational System
-Bang Olufsen Premium sound system

So thats all the wrote, now the wait is on. I could see myself adding that Audi Drive Select package, anyone would highly reccommend it or the stock suspension is already top-notch that I should just save myself the Three Grand???

congrats on the order. i placed mine back in february and i hope to see my car within the next 2 weeks. I am sure it will be worth the wait.
btw as the arrival date comes closer you will definitely get alot more impatient.

As long as its still frigid cold like it will be for the next couple of months I'll be just fine. I plan on hittin up the PS3 HARDCORE this Winter, Socom comes out in a few days, Resistance 2, and Call of Duty the War at World next few weeks. Besides working, working out, me and that PS3 are gonna be like Bonnie and Clyde, LOL...

What was it like to have that IS300? You don't see many tuned Lexus's.

Having this L-Tuned IS300 has been Great, not only is this car an Absolute Beauty, it sounds AMAZING, really fun to drive as well, the steering is so light but so precise. Probably wont enjoy the steering on the S5 like I did with this car. Ive read the wheel is a bit heavy and the car a bit jumpy. Sounds typical being my friend has an A4 and I've experienced that driving his car. Would any S5 owners confirm that ??? But ya Sooo many good times with this car, get compliments all the time and still get that "Break Ya Neck" on a daily basis...Well I'm off to work, have a good one all...
