    Anyone have NAV plus RNS-D

    is it still possible to get updated software for it?

    is it intuitive?

    Does it fit the B6 A4s?

    What generation was it originally made for?

    D version are found in older cars, plus they use like 10 disc compared to 1 dual layer dvd found on the E.

    Dude says it is meant for a B6. So he is incorrect? Will it still fit a B6? Has anyone used this one? Is it even worth my $. Does anyone know where to find the software?

    They came in B6 cars in europe, it was none as navigation plus. Here in America we only got the regular navigation in a B6 which was the little display in the gauges with a little twisty knob by the cig lighter. The Nav Plus I've heard is okay, it can be modified to work in the US without much trouble, and the discs are the same ones used in a few other cars so I would think they'd have some updates.

    i did, but i would not recommend it given that it takes much more work to install then an RNS-E and these units can be obtained for much less than they used to...

    I have one. It's cheap, tells you where to go, and even though it's a D unit, it's still factory NAV and doesn't look out of place in the dash.
