I loved the commercial. I do own both - an Audi A4 and BMW Z4.
The Z4 replaced a Lexus IS300 Sportcross.

Nah - I am first and foremost an Audi enthusiast. But I drive aggressive in both of them and that's part of the fun.

Have a e46 m3 friend... he thinks he's better than everyone else...
and some e90 3 sedans on the road... thought they're driving a e92 m3... always have that arrogant smirk XD...
but these are the stereotypes though~
that's where my 1% will go: there are still a portion of good people driving other brands other than audi's : )

Audi owners: Apologist for accepting style over performance/substance.

A proper "sport sedan" is about the "sport".
BMW dominates Audi in that regard.

That "commercial" is quite idiotic.
Think about what the add implies about Audi owners or those who would buy an Audi based on the message of that ad.
It says Audi owners really believe that stereotypes are true.
And, if you don't want to be perceived as one of "those" people, then you better get an Audi.
I've owned a BMW, Audi, Mits, Ford, Chevy, Nissan, Mazda, and no owner of a brand owns the market on being an ass or on being mature or responsible.

It's an amusing ad, but overall it's really stupid.

I think you're taking this ad a little too seriously. It was meant to be amusing and to catch your attention with a little laughter, nothing more. We tend to remember the more amusing ads, even if the product isnt really talked about much.

I think all those brands build excellent cars. Each a flavor in the "ice cream" shop of the luxury automotive world. Some have chocolate, others vanilla, some with walnuts and cherries, yet others make due with caramel. All very delicious!
