Last year I replaced the bulbs on our X5 with some real silverstars, the ones that have the super high output. We have a non-xenon X5 obviously. Anyways... they are AMAZING. Not quite HID output, but some may get fooled. They are not blue bulbs either, they're regular clear bulbs, BUT, the light output is practically white. When my wife pulls into the driveway, it looks like HID's from far away like on a Volvo or something. I would definitely check it out. The lights really reach further on the road too. Our Tacoma is getting a set of these sooner or later too, these are great.
