Can you post a sound clips? I heard one on the milltek site. Sounds pretty decent. There was one of a S6 Avant that seemed to have a much deeper sound, but that may just be the recording device. What was the costs for the system if you don't mind me asking?



Also looking at the pictures I noticed the tips seem a little off. They don't seem to line up perfectly. Is this normal?

this was a test fit for milltek we still have to do some final adjustments for the tips to line up correctly. the video on the milltek site is for the resonated version of the exhaust which literally sounds nothing like the non resonated version on our car. i will get some video clips up tomorrow.

Wanted to ask your opinion on the non resonated version you have. Is it loud all the time? Does the exhaust note hum into the interior? Don't want to wake up the whole neighborhood on my way home leaning towards resonated.?.?.? or......

Any opinions Rich? The MTM is nice, but price wise and the tips protruding too far on the MTM is making the Milltek system look really attractive. Would you facilitate in the exhaust install if I go this route or maybe you can source the milltek and I will buy it from you instead??

We are a Milltek reseller, so no problems if you'd rather go that route. We have the MTM system here (as I've reminded you 10,000 times) so we could even install both of them and let you decide on the look/sound you prefer...

I am pretty sure I am going for the milltek. Price is reasonable and the major point for me is the flush mount tips. I spoke to Peter Ryckaert @ Stratmosphere and he confirmed that Metalevon's exhaust was done that way at his request and the shipping versions are designed to be flush with the car

BTW - The tips are slip-fit, so they can be adjusted to flush perfectly with the bumper.

i am sorry it took me so long to get back to you. i was in chicago over the weekend. For my taste, the car is still remarkably quiet when cruising around. with the windows up and the B&O on you wont even know its there unless you floor it. There is so much insulation that even with no driving music the exhaust is barely noticeable at cruising speeds. there is no where near the amount of hum i got from installing a non res milltek on my B7 s4 and i still found that very comfortable.

Obviously 100% caused for my "Big Experience"...but a little doubt for the tech resource...mmmm....

i just used my point and shoot nikon "coolpix p500" with some photoshop afterward.
