Removing Rear Wiper on Avant...?

I have searched the site and checked my Bentley manual for the info and am still left with some issues when trying to remove the rear wiper arm. I have the rear panel off... I can remove the bolts securing the wiper motor.. and also get the nut off of the wiper arm (outside of it).. but I still can't get the thing off. Does anyone have any tips or info that might help me out with this?

If you have done all of that, make sure the rubber grommet is removed. If you havent gotten the arm yet off, just simply pull AWAY from the mirror. Sucker should come off and the motor on the inside as well

Finally got it! I had to pry with a flat head screwdriver between the wiper arm and the base a little bit and it came right off. Thanks!

I still might remove the wiper all together and plug the hole.. I'm still undecided on that part. What did you use to plug the hole on your Avant?
