a bunch of bullshit. im not naming names but heres the deal. i was approached by a AZ member to buy a group of parts. one of them being the turbos. he pays for all the other parts and we leave the balance of the turbos out because i cant see them until i remove them. i thought thats fair cause i dont know the conditon. i ship all the other parts. now i havent been payed for the turbos. at the time i drove my car into the shop to part it out and there was no turbo noises at all. upon inspection there is a tiny, and i mean tiny little something on the blade. i thought well i dont want to sell this guy turbos like this without telling him because i dont want them to blow within 5k miles and hes pissed. so i thought well better safe than sorry. now i get an email saying well it was a package deal so i just will return the package i have coming since its not a package deal anymore. i am in no way responsible to return the money for good used parts that HE named his prices on that have already been shipped. i mean if it was such a package deal why would he pay for everything else? i feel like im the victim of someone changing their mind after the fact. i have been nothing but upfront about the condition of all the parts i sold during the part out. i mean should i just have said they were good and shipped them out? hell no who would do that. unbelievable!!

Actually he can file a claim with paypal and they will split it half and half, he can say that you misrepresented what you were selling,this happened to me over a perfectly good transmission I sold. The buyer actually returned his old one to me, now fighting with paypal to get the other half of my money back.

Out of curiousty what was the other stuff was it directly related to the turbo such as fueling, chip or hoses.

i didnt misrepresent shit. he bought parts A,B,C,D & E. he said well i'll pay for A,B,C & D now and you can ship those out. then you can let me know the condition on part E when you get to it and i'll send the money. i have all saved including emails.

I still have yet to hear a story worse then my Marc Ehrenburg transmissions deal. I am STILL out over 3k in parts and labor from him. I personally took the trans apart myself and found the 1-2 shift collar seized. My advice is to suck it and try and cut your loss's, it could be MUCH worse.

he wanted me to send them to blouch and heave them inspected. yeah, im gonna send my turbos to blouch, a company that has had rebuilt turbos blow right outta the box and have them inspect them. id let my 2 finger, one eye unclu inspect them before blouch. well i told him to just send them back and once i recieve them in the condition i sent them i'll refund the money. something about his credit card and getting his money back. sounds like hes done this before as he knew all the loopholes lol. i dont care, ER intercoolers and stg3 fueling things sell themselves LOL. im just glad when the bullshit will be over.

PAYPAL will always side with the seller if its of ebay. If it is "as described" and not done on ebay, then paypal will side with the seller. if it not received well then you need to provide proof of shipment or the buyer gets their money back. and in cases of this it would fall into not as described and the buyer is covered

Not to get OT... but I haven't heard of a single blouch turbo blowing after a rebuild. Maybe you're thinking of Buehn? Buehn turbos are notoriously unreliable and many people have had them blow right after startup. Blouch on the other hand has had a great track-record. Blouch is good people.

yeah maybe i do but it doesnt matter to me. the buyer and i have come to terms on just refunding the money and i'll get my er's and other parts back. heres the thing with having them inspected, their not going to guarantee them and we all know the track record on k04's so should i really risk selling to a guy that will have his credit card co. on standby waiting to pull money out should something goes wrong? i actually prefer it as i wont have to worry from day to day if there going to die on him. i mean i seriously drove my car to the shop and took it apart. i was never going to get the cash i got in return if i tried to sell a salvage title stg3 so this was my best option.

and i think some people didnt read correctly... i never sent the turbos and i never recieved the cash so saying i didnt descirbe something correct is totally bogus. i was trying to be honest BEFORE i sent them and then he said he didnt want the parts i already sent and which he paid for. either way liek i said, its over and im sure i wont have a problem getting rid of ER'S, egt's, o2 sensors, 85mm maf, hitachi maf sensor, maf plug and rs4 accordian hose. let the pm bombardment begin lol

the green one? The launch at the start of the dash was weak. I was pissed at all the dubs doing FWD burn outs and I expected more from just about the only RWD car there.
