My Introduction

Hey guys, I'm new to Audizine so I thought I'd do an introduction. I'm a 16 year old student in the Chicago suburbs. I drive a 2002 A4 3.0 Quattro that I just got used with 52,000 miles on it. As of right now, the car is completely stock but I plan on doing painted lowers, tints and maybe B7 RS4 reps. Here's a few pictures.:

Suggestions and opinions would be great!

not really much you can do performance wise with the 3.0, but painting those lowers, rimmies, and a nice drop would be a very good start.

Car looks clean. I'm 18. I live not too far from you maybe a 2 hour drive.

It depends on what your budget is. I think coilovers and some new wheels are always a good start, looks-wise.

does anyone know how dark i can do my tints without getting bothered by the cops. i live in illinois.

Yea don't go too dark like 20's or they will be noticed alot easier than 35's where a cop can still see through, and therefore might probably wont bother you unlike if you had 20s. And at the same time 35s gives a nice darkened touch. Or if you're gonna do a silver and white setup as in Silver(your car color) and white(white/silver wheels), then you won't even need tints because it'll probably look nicer without them with that color setup. I have 20's on my car and the small town cops are always breaking your balls about it, luckily I work in that small town and my boss keeps me out of their view... So you'll either have to A) roll your windows down which will suck in the winter or rain, or B) do a lighter tint 35% is ideal, or C) dont do it at all cuz you wont need it with your color setup.

You can't have fronts in IL. I don't have tints but some of my friends do and they get warnings a lot for having them on the front windows.

It's actually window tint. But "tints" in the hood.

other things i want to do are led tails, xenon fog lights, subs, chrome mirror caps, and s4 doorblades but i cant find any. where can you get s4 or usp doorblades besides the dealership?

yeah for real.. i'm 16 too haha i just got my a4 about a month ago.. i would recommend tints, painted lowers, black out grill, USP rear lip spoiler, debadge... thats what i have done except painted lowers because i got dolphin gray

welcome. car looks clean. i would definately stick with a luxury theme on your car, seeing as it is the luxury model of a4.

o my bad I was a reading at feature in eurotuner before and it said in the article that it was 3.0 but it was a 1.8

i'm sure a turbo can be fitted to a 3.0 but it woudl likely cost far more then a supercharger since it woudl be a completely custom job with a learn as you go type of situation. deff don't want to be screwing with your first car at 16 with that kinda of work, if you really want a kick in the ass get a supercharger and do it the right way or your just going to have a headache.

im also sixteen..i have a job and do some pool jobs around my neighborhood (i live in florida)...i make about 1200 a month...thats 300 a week..when your sixteen and living at home, have no expenses such as food, clothing, shelter etc., that money can go to things such as mods for your car haha....
