thanks for the wiring, another question, what does the grey plug control is it just for the radio to LCD screen inputs for display of the radio functions or does it communicate other signals into the cluster?

i have a harness for my 01 a6 its for a power acoustik pd 931 nb i wired the harness on turned on the deck, but got no sound and when i turned my subs and neons on there was no power. is there a configuration computer for the rest of these components cuz it killed my battery too when i left the deck plugged in

The problem is your audi is too ashamed to be seen with neons, and refuses to turn them on. Have you ever thought about owning a honda? I hear wiring neons in those iz kewl n ez!
