    Re: dv question

Green for stock boost pressure, and yellow if you chip/flash. But there are people whom stay with the green and place 2 spacers w/ the flashed ECU. You could play with it to see what you think drives the best for you. I personally drove with the green spring prior to flashed ECU and yellow thereafter.

    Green: 5-15 PSI
    Yellow: 15-23 PSI
    Blue: 23-30 PSI
    Red: 30 + PSI

    Re: dv question

They need to be serviced yearly. You simply take it apart, wipe entire dv with a rag and apply some grease (I use Mobil 1 Synthetic, and I think if you go another route a lithium grease is the one to use. But don't quote me on that). Apply the grease on the outside of the piston, inside wall of the dv, and very light coat on top rim. Forge says that you don't need to service till after a year coming from that factory, but that is bull. Apply grease when you get it and put it in. Then wait another year before service. I had my piston get stuck a couple months after installation and caused me a little aggravation till I found out it was the piston of the dv causing so much trouble..

    Re: dv question

Mobil 1 Synthetic grease. Not motor oil. The Mobil 1 Sythetic Grease is Lithium based and can be used on just about any portion of the vehicle where you would apply grease (in areas up to 320*F).

    Re: dv question

As I said previously, I am not posotive that it is lithium grease to use. But I am more than sure any type of lubricate would work just fine. I just know that the Mobil 1 is lithium based. I would just say go ahead and use the Shell stuff. As long as it does not dry and stiffen, then it should be ok.
