What manual do the dealership mechanics use? I just received my Bentley; while it's nice, it's nothing compared to the Helms FSM that I have for my other car.

    Re: Factory Service Manual

The Bentley Manuals are the factory service manuals. They have every piece of data you could need to repair the car. The only items that they don't cover are the concepts behind the design of certain portions of the car and why they were needed.

For that type of info, the Self-study Programs are used. (aka. SSP).

What kind of info are you trying to find that isn't listed in the Bentley Manual?

    Re: Factory Service Manual

So are Bentley manuals the only option for us C5 guys in terms of repair manuals?

Is there anywhere to get them for less than $100? That seems awfully excessive.

I was looking at the same exact one. Can anyone chime in on if this is the right stuff... I also notice the DVD's are "repair manuals" and the books say "service manuals"

Amazon has the Bentley manual on sale for $63.00.

    That's a bargain!
