    Since inconel is very expensive I figured I would plan out my manifold before making all the cuts and possibly making mistakes. It's a bottom mount configuration and the intake of the turbo will be carbon, I also tried to move the turbo back as far as possible to get it closer to the center line of the axle. The turbine inlet of the turbo sits two inches above the top of the frame rail.

    I finished relocating the rad to the trunk passage. Again the fit turned out pretty good. Now I just have to finish up the tanks and hoses. From the rad I'll run hard lines to the engine with a electric pump somewhere in between.

    I dropped the engine in today to get more mock up done. Looks like I may need to put a 1" bubble in the hood... I'm just fine with that, because racecar.

    If we do anything it will be a thin gauge stainless suite or a Ti line up. Inconel is harder to come by in the quantities we would be selling. I also believe thin gauge inconel is harder to work with and master compared to Ti.

    I haven't posted in a short while... recently I made a holder for a Dent fix brush to take out all the tar and insulation for seat and cage prep. I've never had good luck with dry ice on these cars, this works pretty good. This was done in a few seconds






    I also got going a bit further in the turbo header

    ^ I saw him cut out the trunk lid probable for air movement, im guessing he will put some electric fans on there pushing air from inside car through the rad. My guess, interested to find out how he will do it.

    If I can find the video I'll link it, I've seen something similar to this. But I imagine he'll make a duct down from the roof, should have plenty of airflow with the duct and fans pulling.

    Yes air flow will come in through the rear doors.

    Its been a while since I posted, I've been occupied shooting a few episodes on Powerblocktv. It was fun. Yesterday I mocked up the oil cooler. It's fitting well.

    I've been off working on the car for part of the summer getting ready to do a bike rally in Baja California two weeks ago.




    Now I'm back into the swing of it.
    Maybe some of you have seen the front subframe I designed earlier.



    I finally got the tube order back from bending. I'll get the jig table set up shortly to weld one up.
