    AWE Boost Gauge

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I just bought the APR boost gauge from a local tuning shop, and after looking at it for about 3 seconds i decided that the extra 100 bucks for the AWE gauge is well worth it, especially since it comes with the electrical and not a hood rich vacuum line, and includes the inline filter to keep the needle from bouncing around, now my question to you guys is where is the best/cheapest place to order from???

thanks for the info as always

Have you considered an Omori gauge? Same one as AWE without the AWE logo. Check out egauges.com.

team_soy i believe has the old model used for sale. PM him,not positive.

but if you buy from AWE theyre quick with shipping and they warranty it. Great customer service if there's ever a problem with it.

    Re: AWE Boost Gauge

if the old one being sold is cheap, buy that. then from AWE buy the 80 dollar replacement gauge which is the "new style" which IS much better BTW... and if its under 250 then consider it a good deal!

    Re: AWE Boost Gauge

I feel the same about the AWE. Seemed worth spending the extra, I just like the way they executed everything compared to the others, and wanted the vent location.

Just ordered mine for $229 @ PureMS.com, that was the best I could find.

    Re: AWE Boost Gauge

I recieved my AWE gauge yesterday, and im sooooo happy i returned the APR one, the install kit it comes with is 100x nicer, it includes directions, and and even a blow pop sucker for when your done with your install.

and on top of all that the gauge looks a million times nicer, well worth the extra $100

actually, AWE has lil/nothing to do w the quality of the boost gauge. if you are going to give credit, give it where it is due. to OMORI, not AWE!

So a question to the guys that already have the AWE gauge installed, does the gauge pod still angle up and down like the vent that is in there now, or is it fixed?

I wont be able to put mine in until wednesday....if that even

but if u read the directions it tells you to cut a little off to where the hose fits in so when u close the vents it closes and the zip ties help prevent the hose from moving

Yeah exactly. I think a lot of people skip that step; apparently its aggravating.

I plan on giving it a whirl, just received my gauge the other day.

The whole thing just looks of such quality. Speaking just for myself, i'm glad after having seen it in person I didn't cut my vent & try inserting my own gauge.

I installed the older version on my buddies S awhile ago and it wasnt hard at all.. The vent does require a little trimming to keep the hose from moving but if you take your time its not a big deal at all.

The directions they supply are very good and if you can read you wont have an issue.
