I've heard nothing but good things about the stasis exhaust but can't speak from personal experience.

I've been in an A4 with both STaSIS exhaust and AWE. The AWE had more drone. The STaSIS is a little quiter, but has less drone. I like the STaSIS better. That's what I've got on my car.

    Re: Exaust System... Cat Back

STaSIS is very quiet. just a warning. if you want an exhaust that is free flowing and almost stock sounding, get stasis. its only louder when you're on the throttle.

i'll be making a video of my stasis exhaust coupled with a testpipe soon.

i went with AWE and laBree TP! i love it at the deep sounds, and how it's not so loud where you can't have a conversation with the passengers in the rear!

I work at Audi and a lot of customers want me to get my car so they can hear the sound of my exhaust!

Thumbs up to AWE & LaBree

    Re: Exaust System... Cat Back

The AWE has a lot of drone, lots more than STaSIS. Combined with a TP, ^^ the ride in his car is not that quiet. STaSIS has a little drone as well. But it's not as bad as the AWE.

stasis is quiet and smooth, but awe and britalman make quad tip exhausts which are pretty popular...

I would have to agree with everyone, if your looking for a close to stock sounding exhaust go with Stasis. I just put a new exhaust on, I have the AWE quad-tip exhaust with diamond black tips and i have to say I am nothing but satisfied. I love the sound of it. There is some drone to it but I don't mind it at all. But it is all about what you prefer.

Here is a sound clip if anyone is interested:

    Re: Exaust System... Cat Back

if you want something really similar to stock then go milltek but your basicly paying a lot of money for a SLIGHTLY modified stock sound

id go with AWE man its got a really nice sound and I think you'd be really satisfied

Sounds like what you are looking for is the Milltek system. Silent when supposed to be silent and opens up just right when hitting the throttle.

    Re: Exaust System... Cat Back

Hmm..dont take this the wrong way but why would you spend a big chunk of $$ on cat-back just for it to sound so close to stock?? There are no significant hp/tq gains so the primary reason for those of us who have gone aftermarket cat-back were for a distinctive "sound" that lets us know it aint stock..or at least wouldnt be mistaken for stock.. I have my Neuspeed cats-meow cat-back that rocks fs in November..$550..

I have a lead on a very good deal on a cat back Magna Flow exhaust. I have never heard anyone talk about it for an A4. Anyone with experience with this exhaust? How loud is it? How easy to install? etc...

X2 - Cat back with flange connections instead of slip joints. Supreme Power Parts has the best price.
