Narrower tires are better for snow anyways...

I run 205/65-15 Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D. Similar tires, they work great in snow, as Arclight said, the narrower the better to get the weight on a smaller contact patch for bite. They do look a little funny though, as the tires are pulled in a ways from the fender b/c they are so skinny.

When I pull off my summer wheels and put on the black, rusted, hubcap-less 15" steelies for the 5 months of winter my car instantly becomes invisible to police. Rides nice over bumps and expansion joints as well, its like and extra 1.5" of suspension.
