I know im nuts.....but im going to get a new set of wheels, with a custom color and some nice spacers in the rear, and i think i might just go ahead and get the R6 front and sides...so im going to try somthing, so lets see how it turns out, haha i hope i don't regret all of this. and yes iam getting 19" , and i know they suck, but they are only on the car for like 4 months so im going to try to put up with it lol!

well i love the 18 inch, but heres the thing, when i would get them painted they would have looked even smaller, and they now have the wheels in 19" .... but i found a nice strong wheel that im going to go with, who knows if i dont like it, i will just sell them and go back to 18" , BUT I LOVE my rs4/rs6 reps in 18" for winter, they are amazing, perfect.

Looking at 99-01 VW Passats 1.8t 5spd preferabbly or Volvo turbo. A preferably non domestic $5000-7000 daily driver with a small 4 cyl turbo engine and a manual box.
Next year if I get paid and still have my job post merger iwil buy the new b8 A4 2.0t 6spd or a certified low miles 335i 4-door 6spd.
I Keeping my other baby, my 99 TJ as my kids would never forgive me if I sold it. It'll be theirs later when I find me the perfect 1997 D90 or 1972 FJ in a few years.

Is your car lowered? If so, do you anticipate any clearance issues? I'm going to install HR springs and lower my '08 A6 about 1.6" and wonder about putting on a set of 19's ad what offset to go with.

yes its lowered with Koni FSD and Eibach spirngs. i think 1.4 front and 1.2 rears. and im not worried a bit, i had 18x9 with 35ET's and it was FAR from rubbing, as for the next wheels i get, they are 19x8.5 with 32ET and prolly 5-8mm spacers in the rear, im not sure of the ET's for the C6's , but im sure you can go pretty wide.


And Gigi, i def will give them a call. as for your next car, don't join the darkside by getting a 335i :( soo soo ugly, i say get a b7 S4 6mt , thats my next car in a few years, either the b7 S4 or a A8 lowered with MTM's mmmmmm.

well the 335 is just a great car and a 2-3 yr model will be decently priced with a warranty. It is fast as heck, handles way better than our a6, and rides nicely... HAS LOTS OF POTENTIAL TOO!!!
But I reallly like the B8 A4 platform, new 2.0TSFI with 250+ lbs of TQ out of the box and more room than the 335 and almost as roomy as our A6. 2.0 chipped/exhaust gets pretty fast coupled with a 6spd. I am not buying a B8 S4, too much $$$... the used 335i is a much better combo and I like turbos... s4 will be a supercharger. is it coming to the US?

Brice-- I agree with Frank on this.. I won't get a BMW.. I would get a CPO S4 or wait a year and get the B8.. I drove the B8 on the racetrack couple of months ago.. its a completely different car.. If I were you I would go test drive B8 before leaving the AUDI family..

The B8 with the 3.2L was fricken amazing on the track for a stock car.

I'm holding out till the new S4 arrives since the new A6 won't have any manual tranny at all in the US. It will have the 3.0L Supercharged engine that the S4 will have (at 290HP -vs- the 333HP in the S4) but, tiptronic is a deal breaker for me.

Ingolstadt will start assembling the B8 S4 next month.

My brother has a e92 335 and that thing is off the hook....But the coupe is way better than the 4dr. Wow Gigi, I just come to NC and you getting rid of the A6......That sucks bro..lol
