    New front end ideas

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Long story short, I basically had an issue which allows me now to get a new front end for my car. This is how it looks now -

I originally wanted to do an Oettinger front bumper but I wanted to see all your ideas. But, it's a pricy piece and I could probably get some other bumper in addition to a Boser hood for not too much more. Shoot me some ideas....

If your not planning on getting sides, then S4, USP, or Caractere will flow the best.

It's perfect the way it is! But go Caractere if you are going to. It's my favorite of the aftermarket bumpers.

USP front ends look good and it would give you a bit of a "sleeper" look.

If you can find these Abt chin spoiler pieces, I have always thought this look would be cool on an S4 (nevermind the hideous graphics)

    Re: New front end ideas

I'm most definitely not going to an A4/OEM bumper so no on that one. That ABT part is bada$$, I'm going to look into it.

A4natomical- Read my sig, it's to support my sponsors, a necessity to have if you're in my position on top of the fact they are great companies to work with.

Appreciate the insight guys but some of your responses are useless. It's all good though, you are entitled to an opinion.

check it out.. first of all.. i knowabout sponsors and the never say nothing about putting the stickers on the front of ur car like that. but i guess u like having that and it makes u feel special. (ur car is not that modded that they abide you to put them. u have a very small partial contract with them and thats it.. not even contract. no1 gives out full sponsorships unless you are TWC elite members, EP Elite cars, or part of Tjin's crew) sooo try again. try again. try again.

and u saying all your responses are useless.. bro. honestly think bout this. u posted a public forum. u will get flamed.

and its easy to get sponsors... call up the marketing/sales of the company.. tell them ull rock stickers and go to shows, show them ur car a little porfolio and ask something from them.

    Re: New front end ideas

Good luck finding the ABT chin spoilers. I exchange emails with ABT in Germany about once a month for various parts inquiries (wheels, body kit pieces, etc.) and they don't have any, won't make more, and have no idea where I could find them if I wanted any. If you can find someone with a pair, see if you can get reps made. I would be in on that in a heartbeat. Oh, and the last time someone said they could get those splitters, they were asking $700 for a pair.

Oh you must have been that guy who I went over my contracts with and decided how to do things. Thanks for your contribution.

The "useless" remark was aimed towards the ppl who just posted and neglected to give me their opinon on my original question. Lets keep things on topic.

Thanks for the mention on the ABT products, Im sure it wont be easy to get but Ill look into it.

Because i like the all black look. The S4 and A4 grilles are identical, with a couple different models available.

    No they're not......

I am not talking about the color, i am talking about the slats (that is what differs between A4 and S4)

Those CF chin pieces are $400 a piece and only available from Germany from Abt.

I looked into it a couple of years ago and they still had some stock so I don't know if there is any left now.

Wow, some of you guys just really know how to welcome people ot the B6 A4 forum... and then some of you just need to learn reading comprehension. If someone asks your opinion on CHANGING their front, that means they want a change, not responses about how/why they need to keep it.

Anyway, this is a long shot but if you could find a Sportec bumper that would definitely take the cake. The Oetty doesn't look that great unless you get some sides to match, the S4 rear will complement it better than the Oetty rear. The USP is nice likeothers have said and I have one so I beleive it, but Sportec may be the niced not-too-over-the-top bumper for the B6 out there.

Lol at your post. Thanks for speaking your mind

I'd love to get a Sportec front but like you said, they are not too common. I'm really leaning towards the Oetty front w/ the grill as well. I'd like to get a picture of that setup with the S4 sides. I like the Caractere but I think if I'm going to spend that, I'd rather get the piece I have always liked.

What the hell does reading comprehension have to do with me asking WHY he got rid of his s4 spoiler?

I was simply curious, because that seems like a mod that everyone does, and he decided to take his off

I think your front end looks perfectly fine...nothing wrong with being OEM..I know everyone wants the OEM look which is maybe why you want to get creative.. but as far as looks goes yours looks awesome. whatever the issue is I think you should stick with that look.

Uber S4: Try this part from a Audi dealer in the UK (I actually purchased from this place before and can vouch for them). The chin spoiler pieces are designed for the B6 cabrio but should fit the countour of the S4 bumper as well...

I've been fortunate to have the support of some great companies. If you want details on sponsorship, feel free to PM me. But in terms of what I've gotten/received, that's between me and the company.

Discontinued and not available from ABT anymore. Like I said, I communicate with them on a somewhat regular basis. Your best bet is trying those cabriolet bits or hoping that someone with a back stock of ABT stuff pops up with a set of the S4 ones. Seeing as I'm in England though, maybe I'll see how far away Stafford Audi is and see if they'll let me test fit those cabriolet ones on my S4 front. I guess that would be useful to all of us, information wise.

Those CF B7 ones are nice too. I wonder if they could be convinced to make some for the B6 S4. Group buy interest perhaps?

If you could do that I'd be so grateful. I am still awaiting a contact back from Stafford so if you could even call them that would be wonderful. I really like that setup but want to make sure they will fit.

The CF pieces from the other vendor will not fit the B6 bumper. The seller responded to me today.

    Re: New front end ideas

Stafford Audi is probably the last place on earth with any stock on Abt pieces for the B6(trust me, I know)...they bought up the remaining new geniune pieces from the UK distributor so once they are gone, that's it forever. Ben at Stafford was more than willing to help me...

I had to oped a Fedex account and make all the shipping arrangements to get my sideskirts shipped to the USA - wasn't cheap but it was worth it to get geniune pieces that fit like the factory ones.

My recommendation Uber - buy the pieces and sort the fitment out later.

Sandspeed, seems to me you could make a nice business buying/shipping those pieces to the states...
