rattle rattle?

ok i have a 99 a6 and i hear a rattle come from the front suspension when i go over fairly large pot holes or whe i go over large ones and very low speeds. and when im turning and hit a hole or something i hear the same thing... what is this noise coming from in the suspension? is it the control arms or what?

Check the clips on your brake pads. I had the same problem and found out one of the clips had broken/fallen off.

yea, i don't think the suspension rattles but like bosshog said, check the brakes

mine rattle when the pads are uber low

im 150% its not the brakes i just did em all myself and the rotors and its made the noise b4 had, and ive checked everything its all good there, im thinkin from audiforums its the control arms.
