Anyone With Tinted Taillights!!

I was wondering if anyone here has blacked out taillights on their s4? I have a blk s4 and was planning on blacking out the entire taillights except the clear strip in the middle of the taillight....i would appreciate it if anyone posts up pics of other s4's with similiar taillights

yeah i've contemplated it too on my black S4. I was undecided to leave the reverse light part clear or smoke it as well. I've seen the night shades stuff actually looks good if you don't put clear coat over it.

OMG, (smaggs who is one here) Him and I tried to tint out tails, Failed miserably. We tried heat gun and everything just couldn't do it. Next I'm going to try to take the taillight actually of the car and try stretching the film more.

arrrg. if anyone has had any luck putting tint FILM on their tails please help us out with some advice or something!! we're starting to think that spray tinting them is the only way...

I wanna see the opposite, just the reverse strip tinted. Here it is on a silver s4 and i think it looks sooooo good. i just would like to see it on more colors aka black and nogaro!

This looks better than tinting the whole taillight IMO.

Take out your lights and take tham to a paint shop. Clear coat mixed with a few drops of black will give you a smoked look. Chek out my gallery for examples

That's how mine were done and it's the only correct way to do it. besides tint film/ makes it easier to go back to stock.

I did have it on my b5 a4 all black it looks nice. But never had a chance to take pics beacuse i traded in 3 days later. Get the black tint on ebay i got in for 14 bucks.

Yes, I am serious. It would look gay as aids to do one side only....wtf? Take them out. It takes 20 minutes if you go slow. Take them to a shop with (2) crisp twenty dollar bills and ask if they would have time to spray the two down for $40. Boom. Perfect tail lights. Looks like there is nothing there because it is clear coat. Just darker.

damn that window tint is dark. I really like those smoked on the red- looks original. I'm def going to get mine painted this week. Only thing is they're old pre-face lift tails. I'm thinking without the power of LED I may have a street legallity issue on my hands. Anyone think the old crappy taillights would be worth spraying? Would they even be effective during daylight??

I recently tinted my tails on my Nogaro S4. I'm still on the fence about it as far as the Nogaro Blue is considered.... But it looks wonderful on every other color I've seen so far.

I tint the tails on almost every vehicle I own though, so I'm a little biased lol
