    Stripped air box screw

After cleaning out my air box and putting it back together I noticed that one of the screws went all of the way in and the one that is closest to the front of the car was stripped. After screwing it in I noticed that it holds the box shut but there is a very very small distance that I can still push it down. Will this cause any problems? I was thinking about the cone filter/ heat shield setup a while back but I could be forced to pick it up even sooner than I was hoping...

No, its a stock airbox, your car doesn't have enough power to go through a bolt and a stipped bolt and break itself or throw a CEL for that matter.

Get a cone filter, heat shields dont do anything. pitssshooooooooo

does a heatshield really not do anything? I thought you could warp your filter without it.

youll probably be fine. but once you move to a cone filter and heat shield youll be much happier anyway.
