Re: lm rep spacer /ride height question

i dont have lm reps, but i run 18x8.5 enkei sc05's, 35mm offest, no spacer 245/40-18 dunlops, and i am 1/4 inch wheel gap in front, 1/2 inch gap rears, mind you i have widened front fenders for the rs4 bumper, and i had to shave my rear control arms to clear the monster tires, with a 215 you should be able to slam that thing, especially with a spacer.

this is only protained to the front rear is no issue, i had a 10mm spacer off the rear jus to mock it up and the rim deff has some poke, but i can deff also run the 8mm which i am. idk how guys get away with running 2 or 5 mm spacers on the "bb5" lm reps? mabey cause there brake pads are worn enough that thell clear.. im willing to gring the caliper a little bit to run the smallest spacer as possible but i need to know wats the min size spacer how much grinding ect ect. has anyone heard of a little grinding and saftly running a 5mm spacer? that would be ideal

idk, they look big in there to me, specially cause they wouldn't fit with out the shaving, i do realize they are not crazy big, but the go from fender lip to control arm in the back, so...

Re: lm rep spacer /ride height question

Hey SilverStr33k, got any pics of your setup? I just got my friends old 18x8.5 MOMO's and they got 225/40/18 on them and don't fill the rim up, kinda stretched on there and I don't like the way it looks. I wanna get wider ones like yours possibly, but was worried that a 245 series tire wouldn't clear the control arms. What tire do you have and do you have a pic of the shaving that you did? Does it affect the structural integrity of the arm in any way?

    TIA
