2002 audi a6 6 cd changer problem

I was heading to work around 3am and stopped to get some gas. I came back to my car and my cd player looks like this now, and its all the time whether the key is in, car is on, or the key is out and the car is locked. Any suggestions to whats wrong? this is the first time this has happened since owning the car the past year. No buttons work or do anything.

pull your radio fuse for a min or two, fuse 37, 20 amp. Make sure you have your radio codes.

this is all new to me, can you point me to a thread that shows where the fuse box and radio codes are?

you will need to get the 4 tools to remove the radio and pull the fuse on the back where the plugs are and the radio code should be in your owners manual packet its one of the small books about the radio, there should be a card that has the radio number and the radio code

I bought the car used, and do not remember seeing any paper work about the radio. Im guessing a call to a dealership with the VIN might work?

fixed!

pulled the ground wire off the battery for about 20 seconds, hooked it back and its fine now. Why didn't i think of this 2 weeks ago?
