thanks, i would but that pic was from months ago, wheels are now in storage. the wheels were curbed pretty bad which was really the only thing that made me decide to paint them. basically process was:
sand
fill with bondo
sand
clean with water and dish soap
rustoleum metal primer about 3 light coats
rustoleum flat black about 4 light coats
center cap was done with a rustoleum red

with winter approaching wheels will definitely be on by end of the month. to get back to the op i say go for it. very easy and inexpensive diy, if you don't like the way they turn out you're gonna get new wheels anyway
