my car is too loud kinda

so i thought it would be a good idea to have 3" dp's to dual 2.5 w/ no cats, mufflers, or resonators. It sounds rediculous...but too loud for the street, im just asking to get tickets left and right

anybody know of a good resonator i could throw in each pipe to tone it down a bit??


btw RS6 power delivery is mean, feels much stronger than my pjk04 setup...will have to wait to friday to get logs of it with mike

Right now i am running my RS6s thru 3 inch DPs to the Milltek catback. It is a little bit louder than before. I am going to have the middle muffler taken out and that should help make it a bit louder.


I dont know about your turbos, but mine even running low boost have way more torque than the K04s did. Mine spool as fast if not faster than my K04s did!!

You guys are being bitches. I ran those straight pipes for a while. No worries, no tickets. Did receive two warnings, one due to hearing me accelerate too fast.

I love it and I plan on running the same setup with my new engine setup.

the 3" DP's make a big difference in terms of noise compared to gutted piggies......i like it, just gets to be too much sometimes when you can barely hear yourself think

I had 75 percent of my downpipes replaced with 3" piping. It gets a lot louder when the main cats are off of the car.

we run no mufflers/resonators, which is really what cranks up the decibels.

I'm still running that setup. No issue's here, sounds awesome WOT and don't get that drone and if i shift early it stays quiet. I have never gotten a ticket, and i live 1 mile from the police station/trainning center. I pass buy cops everyday , and have done so for 2 years and VA COPS are a PITA
