My buddy has a car that he doesn't drive just kind of sits, bought it within the past 6 months for fun driving or track use whatever and never bothered to transfer the title because he was lazy. Well he wants to eventually sell it and lost the title and papers for the bill of sale, he cannot get a hold of the previous owner. Hes going to call the DMV tomorrow which was the only suggestion I could give, Im just wondering if anyone has had experience with this or knows what would happen. Its an old car and not valued at much so not really sure what would happen. Any thoughts?
