Moving to vegas and going to UNLV, any feedback?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I live in l.a. right now and really cant stand it sometimes and just want to get away, not sure if its going to be a permanent move but atleast for a few years. Im looking into going to UNLV if I decide to pursue my bachelors, If I dont decide to stay in school I work at a verizon now and probably will try to find a job at another one and open my own verizon retailer store eventually. I also play poker on a regular basis so good scene for that.

How is life living in vegas?

What are the decent areas to live in? I dont want to spend too much and semi ghetto is ok with me as long as I can get my own garage to work on the cars

    Any feedback on UNLV?

I was at Dubfest and Wustefest so im guessing the scene is pretty decent out there.

Thanks for any help and when I move out there id love to meet up with some people since I wont know anyone

damn I didnt even know you guys responded, I didnt get the notification. Anyways thanks for some feedback, I dont mind bad neighborhood as long as I have a garage to lock my car in but would prefer a nicer neighborhood. I posted an ad on craigslist looking for a house or condo in january/february to sublease for 3-4 weeks to try it out. Im definately going to hit up anyone that wants to kick it because I dont know anyone out there. Also if you know anyone who wants to rent out a room for 3-4 weeks like january 5th or so and on let me know.

Im waiting on his new tune to get here, he said he sent it last week. ive been dealing with other stuff, not working on the s4 as much as I should. Im going to be getting a golf or gti as a daily and keep the s4 for a toy.

I live in l.a., hard to get worse. You should see mulholland now. its hard to get out of there without a flat. Its not like I have good grades so shittier school is probably better, its just to say I have a degree since I plan on having my own business

Damn homie where on Maryland Parkway, that pretty ghetto, lol. Nice area are mostly away from the strip. I used to live up near red rock casino. But southern highland is nice also, or you could go to the other side like henderson. Damn if I was still there you could of stayed at my place I was never freakin home. Good luck bro.
