Well, it depends what you mean.

Good for you, or good for me? They are not the same.

Well you never get back what you put in. I would try to take out as much as i can and then sell it. But how is the body? Maintenance records? Mods usually lower the value of the car I wouldnt buy a car that has been modded but thats just me. I f it was completely stock and in really good condition I have seen them go for about 5500-6500.
    Hope I helped

I've had my very clean and unmodded 2000 A4 1.8tqm with 145k on the market for almost a year now. Hasn't sold at 6.5k or 5.5k which leads me to believe the actual resale value in the market is way lower than KBB or NADA values. I'm not willing to go lower since it gets 30mpg.

I'm guessing that if you wanted to sell your car, you would have to get lucky or charge about 4.5k.

    Re: Whats A Good Price???

$2,000 and where are you located, I will buy it? Ha ha j/k the book values seem to be overpriced for the market. If you are not in a rush to sell then start high, like $6k and go lower, if you need to sell it like yesterday then $4,000-$4,500 should do it.

Remember though that the market is not good right now. I had my last car listed for a good price but I wasn't getting ANY bites so I lowered it even more. I was going to lower it even further when I got somebody who bought it for asking price no hesitation. There are just less people out there looking to spend money on cars right now.
