I've been contemplating powder coating my stock rims black but am unsure of what they will look like. Anyone have pictures of the stock 17" 5 spoke in black? I have the stocks on my 03 3.0

Was this a DIY on the wheels or you had them professionally done?

Looks really good i have the same wheels for my winter set up and would like to do the same!

Professionally i had them refinished and powdercoated, im sure you could DIY it but i didnt have the time and this was relatively cheep i think they look good for stock rims!

They look awesome for stock, my next question is how much did it run you if you dont mind me asking so i know what price range this is in.

it was 650 but you have to account for the refinish part which was a sold chunk i dont remember how much just the powdercoat was but id put it around 200 give or take

I had them done in flat black for $200 because a freind works for a wheel place. It will usualy cost you around $300-400. Also the design on them way done by my girlfreind with gloss red paint. That was free (well im sure ill pay for it later on. lol)

They are coilovers. So they are hight adjustable.



Simple version:

There are threds on the black tube (the shock) and when I turn the gold thing (coilover perch) clock wise or counter clock wise, it will raise or lower the spring.

wow thats sick! i sound like such a noob here i know i know.. can you turn them by just taking the wheels off? How much do coilovers like these cost? I need to lower my car
