    Re: led resistors

unfortunately im really not good with this whole lighting, wattage, ohms thing. Im using a normal 194 wedge led bulb. blacklight color. Do you happen to know what resistor or load equalizer i would have to use? once again thanks for all your help.

    Re: led resistors

bro your using a blacklight color LED bulb for the city light? im curious to see how that would look..i say just get the ECS tuning LED city light with resistor, youll get no folicker or bulb out warning. its just plug and play. i ended up getting the ones buttafuoco made on here, he set it up with an resistor and its perfect.

    Re: led resistors

assuming i did do that... would i be able to take the resistors off of those LEDs and use them on the ones i got? the blacklight color is actually sick. right now im using a blue halogen as the city lights (looks aqua) and black light as my side marker turning bulbs. I am gettin a bulb out warning on my sidemarkers , but i was planning on gettin the blacklight for the city light too.

    Re: led resistors

you should be able to swap the lights in and out of the ECS ones! They tend to fall out so i can't see why they wouldn't be able to use different lights!

I hope you don't have stains on your car that the blacklight will show
    The usual things!!

    Re: led resistors

ok, this is what you need: 15-25 Ohm, 25 watt and just tap into the stock wire, right before the socket. Then, just double stick tape the resistor to the headlight cap!

Don't buy the one from ECS..... If you have the bulb, then all you need is the resistor!

    Re: led resistors

^^ I think that would melt the cap....Or will it? I think that resistor will get very hot.
