Tire question/need suggestions

So Im about to get some new wheels with come with almost new Mich PS2's on them. I figure I can probably sell them for the price of some brand new BFG Gforce tires that are smaller (less rub) and cheaper to replace.
So should I keep the PS2's and worry about paying $300 for a new tire (245/35/18) but have an amazing tire?
Or should I sell them all and get some brand new BFG G-Force (235-40-18) which are ALOT cheaper to replace.
Keep in mind that I might track teh car 1-2 times a year and occasionally go on spirited drives.
Please give me your option/reasoning.

Several years ago I bought a set of 5 BBS RKII wheels with nearly new Pilot Sports. I drove them for two summers, pulled the tires off, and sold the wheels for what I paid for them. My expensive tires were free!

See I'm just worried about something happening to the tire within the next couple years of me driving them that will force me to have to shell out $300 a tire. Plus these are ET35 wheels so I don't want it to rub

ET35 should be perfect. Maybe a 5mm spacer. Rolled fenders are a must.

many tire stores sell warrenties, even if the tires are used and you didnt buy them there. i think it was americas tire that was known for it. off road guys use it for destroyed sidewalls.

I've been running these tires for two years, and I refuse to go to another one.....they're amazing, and they can be had a reasonable prices if you find them used. I just bought a virtually new set of 4 for under $300 about 2 months ago.......but, if that's not convincing enough, drive around on the tires for a week before you make up your mind. I can guarantee you'll wanna keep em

I got the wheels. I cant wait to run them, I just have to get my fenders rolled now.
The wheels/tires are not too big and seem like they'll do just fine. Pictures coming thursday or friday
