Canadian B8 A4 2.0T Sline

Just wondering if anyone has noticed that on audiusa.com you can build and order the B8 A4 2.0T and configure it with the Sline option while there's no mention of this configuration for Canada.

I realize that we can currently order the 3.2 Premium Plus with Sline but I'm not really interested in that particular drivetrain. Does anyone know, or has anyone heard whether or not 2.0T's will have the Sline option available in 2009?

There are actually individuals at dealerships stating that this configuration will NOT be available to us. I'm not particularly confident that this is indeed the case since our neighbours to the south seem to have this option. Your insights are much appreciated...

Well despite the case of mistaken identity, I think that there is at least a consensus as to the fact that we will not see the 2.0T Slines in 2008

I guess the sportiest we can get in the 2.0T is the sport package and drive select. Even those packages bother me in that the Drive Select cost more and has more to do with changing the character of the car but you still have to add the sport package on top to get rid of the trucker 4-spoke steering wheel.

Yeah not surprising.... Back in 05 when I bought my A4, they didn't have the S-line for the B7 either. Seems to me like at least for Canada, they don't bring the S-line for the lower drivetrain models until the 2nd or 3rd year since it's introduction to the market. It was like that for the A3, B7, and now B8 and it probably is like that for their other line up to be I haven't paid much attention to those. The sad thing is that now S-line exterior is standard for the B7.. haha kinda sucks for those who ordered S-line before hand?

They should really change this.
