Anyone ever use "IJDMTOY" LED License Plate Lights?

They suck! lol. They like barely fit between the contacts and I tried pushing them together and like I can get them to light then they light but they flicker and if i breathe they go out. Deff. not the way they should be.

Any other suggestions ?

I've been running them for almost a year no problem.
You just have to bend the harness, it's cake.

re-he-heally... lol. I tried that shiz, it wasnt working. should i just try to bend the things over to touch ? thats what i tried and only one side had any hope of lighting and everytime i would touch the lens it would go out haha. i guess i ll try again

When you open up the lens, there are two metal tabs, one on each side (duh).

You see there is a long thin arm, which is the part that touches the metal on the car to get power, and then the square with the hole in the middle to harness the LED/bulb.

You have to manipulate the arm so it still touches the metal on the car will bending the squares inward to accommodate the smaller LED/bulb.

Did that make sense?

It takes like 10 minutes of fiddling around, putting it in checking them, taking them out rebending, etc to get them to work.

If they flicker or don't work you have to do one of two things.

1. Once installed, "roll" them several times to scrape the metal on the ends for better electrical contact (also, potentially sand/scrape the metal tabs that hold the bulb in place).

2. Try each one both ways...I found they each wanted to be oriented a certain way even though it didn't seem to make sense.

Open and close the trunk a few times to ensure they're solid and you should be good to go. I've had mine trouble-free at least 6 months.

haha, thanks. I had an issue with one of them I had to take it out and sand a little bit of the contact both on the car and on the bulb so that there was fresh currents of electricity flowing. now its good! thanks.

Check out superbrightleds.com, they have any size led that you need and they're cheap.

Ah, good to hear!

Exact same thing with mine, took about 10-20 mins of fiddling to get them perfect so they wouldn't have to be touched again.
