She left me stranded again!....HELP ASAP!

last night I went to start my car after work and she turned over fine, but less then 3-4 secs I went to put it in gear and it stalled. I thought, having had a few drinks, that it was me but when I go start it again nothing happened. I had 3 people try to jump my car but no electrnics turned on at all, not even my alarm or key lock. I just changed my alternator and the battery is fine. My mechanic said it might be the main fuse. He said there was a fuse in line with a wire from the battery to the ecu. I have the panel off but dont know which one he's talking about. can someone help me find the main ignition fuse or if this is even the right direction to take?

Theres also a fuse box under the hood...are you looking at the right one?

i'm assuming your looking at the one on the side of your dash where the door closes?

i really don't know much about electrical but check both.

Under hood fuse box? You talking about the relay panel under the knee bolster?

i got it, i didnt think there was one under the hood the only ones i knew of where the on under the knee bolster and the one on the side of the panel. I just wasn't sure of myself. It turned out to be a loose bolt! the bolt that i tapped my gauge into was loose and it caused the whole system to trip...weird
