Milltek has a nice dual outlet exhaust for the TT.
And the 2.0T is better if you want to mod it IMO.
    Plus the DSG is nice

personally i like the 2.0T but thats especially because I like the mods and the way turbo cars work. you get more mods, better gas mileage and the fun experience of turbo (boost, dv/bov, etc.)

on the other hand, the 3.2 is still a beefy ass tt.

Eh, yes an no. I live in LA, and am sitting in asstastic traffic for half of my day. Standard kills in stop and go. But then on the weekend, I wish I didn't have auto anymore.

With the TT, you just have to pretend there isn't a backseat. Unless you have really tiny friends. The only person I've been able to squeeze back there is a girl I know that's like 4'11", 95 lbs. And she was still uncomfortable as hell.

For me, the backseat only exists to hold my purse.

Please tell me your a lady!

So, I've driven the 08 3.2 TT, and I didn't like it, the car sits higher, is longer, and it just did not feel as sporty, but it was fun, however, I do like slamming thru the 6sp and the fun of a turbo! The TT-S will have the 6MT in the 2.0, so there is your option you could look into, should be stouting in the 260s factory.... I'm just use to the MK1, so to switch would be huge! As far as the backseat is concerned, I have had 3 people try to squeeze back there, even an 85lb chick, and still, had to sit sideways. It's just for looks!

the TT-S won't come in 6MT for the US. We'll only get the DSG.
Backseats in the 2008 TT are pretty much useless for carrying people around, unless you have small children/babies.

And OSIR has a carbon fiber hood in the works. It says "coming soon". I've yet to see it on the US distributor sites though.

Re: lookin at getting the new TT

I own a C230 SSk, and drove a C300 4-matic. The latter is a pig, especially compared to the kompressor. Sure the 300 makes more ponies, but a chip solved that, and I get 32+ mpg on a serious cruise.

I'd choose any MkII TT (2.0 or 3.2) over the C300. Compared the 2.0 and a C300-4m on Atlanta Motor Speedway last month. TT hands down. Lots of mods for them, and they are a hoot to drive even in swizzle-box mode.
