    There are a couple screws on the air box, and you have to take off the air duct. You can just compress the middle part and it and the part connecting to the air box will come off. If you're putting in K&N (or equivalent) air filter, you won't need to take the air box completely open, just enough to pull the stock filter out and slip the K&N in.
