    ADR V1 help

I've had this for several months with no problems, but recently played around with the fuse taps. My V1 now gets power but does not transmit the info to ADR interface (or very well). The lights work normally on the V1 and when I turn on the radio I get the message "V1 Off" where the usual ADR alerts go. So the ADR is not totally fried, but maybe something happened to it? I tried a different switched fuse as a power source with the same result. Anyone know how to fix this?

    Re: ADR V1 help

tape button (yeah still rockin' the Symphony II) but when I hit that the display reads "V1 OFF" just as when I start the car and turn the radio on. I'm not sure yet if the mute is working that way since most of my local stationary K, X band alerts have been muted by memory (I'm not sure if that is a V1 or ADR thing).

BTW: I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the power/signal cables to the V1 and ADR with no change in outcome.

    Re: ADR V1 help

i think what you did was turned off the V1 display, you just need to turn it back on. i am able to use the center cluster OR use the actual V1

    Re: ADR V1 help

so you use another multi-function button on the steering wheel to make the center cluster active? not sure how that setting got changed since I think the mute button (tape) is the only one that connects with the ADR.
