    ok i got used k04 from one of the members on this forum and the downpipe/catalytic converter side was a cruck so my question in can i put downpipe from k03 on k04? thanx

    yes..uses same downpipe
    Current car: Stage 3+ 2002 Audi allroad 6 speed

    confirmed. k03 and k04 are basiclly the same turbo just diffrent exhaust turbine size.

    what do you mean "a crunk"?

    there are different model K04's you need a K04-015. the others will not fit. I hope you got the right one or you just got yourself a nice paperweight.

    with enough cutting and welding you can get a 1471 blower to fit

    maybe it is a K04-015, but i don't know what the hell a "crunk" turbo is so i'm assuming it's got the wrong flanges on it and it won't fit and that is what the OP means.

    if the guy really did jump into this by getting a K04-001 or a K04-020 the chances are that he will have the knowledge to be able to fabricate everything up to work are about one in a million. telling him he can get it to fit is just bad advice. he is best off to sell it and get a K04-015, or better yet not to waste his time and money with a K04.
    again, this is just going by my assumption that he has the wrong turbo and he may not.
