2005 Symphony II SVC Missing

No matter what I do I can not find this this option.

I did a few searches and there seems to be one link that has a TSB but it no longer is working (it was on a S4 forum).

Any help on this?

Things I have tried so far:

Holding down menu and looking at those options.

Holding down "scan" then turning stereo on (while car was on)

Holding the second "screen" button and turning radio on (while car was on)

*Update*

Found a thread that said to do it while the car is in ACC mode (the mode before turning the car engine on. Holding the second button in and then turning the radio on. Got the SVC menu to come up but it is set to off. How do I turn it on? Tried hitting all sorts of buttons, nothing seems to work.

Turn the tuning knob. All the way counterclockwise turns it off. Clockwise goes from 1 to 5.

When I do that the actuall radio stations change as if the tunning knob is doing what it does when you are listening the the radio.

Does it say "SVC off" before you turn the knob?

Wow. Don't know what to say. I could adjust mine by turning on the radio, holding down the menu button for a few seconds and the SVC would come up. Turning the tuning knob would increase or decrease the SVC. Sorry, that's all I got!

That is what everyone else in the other post has been saying as well. When I hold down my menu button SVC is not even an option. In order to get the SVC menu I have to hold the second "screen" button and then turn the radio on. It then displays SVC off, all the buttons at that point do what they would do if the radio was on like normal, even though SVC off is still displayed. I know there was a TSB but I can't find it anywhere. This is NON Bose btw for anyone else trying to help!

saw that, but I was thinking that was for BOSE and people who couldn't turn theirs off. I would actually like mine on....I will see if a swing by the dealership helps any.

TSB, are those owner paid or dealer paid fixes?
