try letting your car sit for awhile then put the key back in and try it again...ive had this happen to me but a bit different...i would roll the window up then it would come back down on its own... so i just let it sit for a bit and then it worked...modules do crazy things some times

the wires in the door hinge were rusty/screwed up so it cost me $315 worth of labor from the dealer to fix.

Re: small issue / quick question...

It's either the regulator itself is dead or the individual switch is bad, just a thought but try to put your key in the drivers door lock and turn to the right and hold it for a few seconds this may allow that window to roll up

This was the issue, I had the same issue was was able to slice the wire with a few telephone taps and some light gauge wire I had laying around. Cost me about 3 dollars.

ah, this explains my problem with my window switch not allowing standard up down and only one-touch up and down. Looks like another issue to tackle this weekend :\

Re: small issue / quick question...

Anybody who had this issue able to confirm if my symptoms match what yours were?

I can roll the window down using the switch, either the driver's door, or the switch on the rear passenger-side door (the door with the issue), itself. However, when I try to roll the window up, sometimes it will spin the motor briefly then silence. Most of the time, though, I'm met with silence.

I was able to grab the window and pull it up with virtually no resistance, which had me thinking it was the regulator. After reading this thread, though, I'm not so sure. Any advice would rock.
